Medium Skyscrapers
A 5 by 5 Skyscrapers gives the edge clues more buildings to pin, so you weigh a row against the columns that cross it. Every puzzle has exactly one solution, and it prints on the second page.
Larger grids have more buildings to place. Every puzzle has one solution.

Two pages: the puzzle and its completed grid. Every puzzle has one solution, checked by the same engine as our KDP studio.

How to solve a skyscrapers puzzle
Each number is a building height. The clues around the edge say how many buildings you can see from that side.
The method
- 1Fill each row and column with 1 to N. Every height appears once per row and once per column, like a latin square.
- 2Place the giveaways. A clue of 1 means the tallest building is nearest you. A clue of N means the heights climb in order away from you.
- 3Count the visible buildings. A taller building hides every shorter one behind it, so a clue counts only the ones that step up.
- 4Match both ends of a line. The clues at the two ends of a row or column together pin the arrangement. Work from the most restrictive.
- The one rule
- Fill the grid with 1 to N once per line, matching every edge count of visible buildings.
- What the answer page shows
- The solved heights are printed at the back.
- How the grades differ
- Larger grids and sparser clues need more reasoning.
- Good for
- Solvers who enjoy a spatial, picture-the-skyline twist on latin squares.
